THE PROJECT
The Project
The ABC BlendEd project (101128996 — ABC BlendEd — ERASMUS-EDU-2023-CBHE) aims to enhance student employability and support local community development in Africa by implementing collaborative, multidisciplinary courses in agriculture that bring together students from different countries to work on real-world projects.
Building on a European model developed since 2008, the project seeks to empower African universities to adopt and adapt this approach by designing tailored course content, piloting and refining it over three years, and promoting widespread adoption through stakeholder engagement and a Community of Practice.
The initiative focuses on strengthening key labour market skills such as teamwork, critical thinking, entrepreneurship, and communication, while producing tangible benefits for local communities and fostering long-term sustainability and scalability across the region.
